![]() ![]() The lady giving me my refund said its free if we decide to go with them. The lady charged me $35 for the guy to measure even though we were told it was free. I went in to get the refund for the down payment we made. Sounds like they old bait & switch to me. When I mentioned about how unsavory of a business practice that is, the sales person just defended it. I said but you pitched it as free? They said that they give us a credit for it but the installer still needs to be paid those fees. Guy measured and a week later they call me to say that it would be considerably more than what was discussed and that we would need to pay the installers what they charge to tear up and get rid of the old carpet. Our sales person mentioned the consultation & measurements are free. Called to get their pricing on some carpeting we needed done and they said they offer free installation, tear away & disposal of old carpet as long as we got up to a specific amount of carpet (which we did). I had to call them.I get they are short staffed but dont make promises you dont intend to keep.Ĭouldnt have had worse of an experience at Lomax. They said they would call me to schedule installation and didnt. I had to call to get the quote they said they would send, when I got it the quote was incorrect, they said it would be in within a week, I waited 3 weeks before calling them to check in. Ive been pleasant, polite, and patient but am extremely dissapointed that no one seems to care to make it right.Because I like their products I purchased more items for my basement remodel and yet again had a negative experience. My in person visits are dismissed with more promises of sending someone to look at it who has yet to come. Its been well over two years of my phone calls and emails going unanswered even though Dominic said he would contact me. Shortly after they installed my tile floor, the grout started cracking and a few tiles came up. Lomax has a big selection of affordable, quality flooring options however, their customer service is terrible. Thank you for caring about your work! This business is definitely an asset to the community! Sue scheduled everyone, confirmed all the details And my house looks amazing. There’s no need to hire a separate person to do installation. I am so happy with the sales, quality of materials and installers at this local store right in Montgomeryville. They both worked very hard and finish this job in one day. They vary the panels To bring out the quality in the design. Patrick and JR installed the Pergo extreme floor so artfully. all of the installers were very polite, professional, on time and did a quality job. This was within a week visiting the store. So explained the other fine details to add the quality of the install.I watered the floors scheduled within two weeks and they were beautifully done. She showed me where it was and at my request show me some others so I made sure my decision felt right. I came in wanting Pergo extreme flooring in caffeine hit. she really is outstanding and a value to the company. I read awesome reviews about Sue before stepping in the door. In the end they did what they promised so we are happy. Once Dominic got involved he returned calls and made sure things got corrected. Dominic even gave a follow up call to see how everything went. Crew came and replaced carpet and we are not satisfied as it looks great. If you ever have a problem he is the guy that cares. 11-18-20 Dominic called me back as he said he would and this is scheduled. So Far he is the only one that seams to care and he said he will get back to me. Dominic is out of the office was told Matt will call me today.11-16-20 Matt never called but Dominic did call this weekend to ask my availability for getting the carpet replaced. Spoke with Dominic he seems like a nice person and stated they will have to replace the entire floor so that its done right. 11-11-20 they came out but the carpet piece that had did not match. We have this scheduled to replace will update when done. 11-09-20 Went to store this weekend I had to contact them again. Be aware if something goes wrong your will be left in the dark without a care. We all know mistakes happen but it how you react to those mistakes that matters. I went here for quality and service and neither was given. I even told the manager I was going to contact my credit card company as this is the worst customer service i have ever experienced. To make a long story short they have never returned any of my 2 additional emails and 6 additional phone calls. Since then i have called and emailed with zero return calls I even went in the store to speak with them and they told me the replacement carpet was lost. I emailed the manager Steve and sent him a picture. The carpet was installed and we had a section not matching the rest. ![]()
